We can feed 7 billion people directly more efficiently than feeding the 60-100 billion animals we abuse, torture, confine, neglect and slaughter each year on this planet. We are wasting our resources. 50,000 litres of water goes into 1 kilo of beef. We could feed the one billion humans who need food if we grew food for the people directly. And we end the cycle of violence. We have a choice.

Animals matter. Animal cruelty and abuse is WRONG. Canada should change this and pride itself in its accomplishments. There are no reasons for this. It is embarassing that Canada still has all this. I REFUSE to purchase factory farmed meat and have for many years! If we are what we eat and we eat factory farmed meat, then we are, emotional hell, torture, seclusion, abuse, pain, hate and murder! Economics cannot justify this kind of treatment of animals.
